So you want to post your thoughts?
There are just a Few rules you should follow to be sure that your posting stays on our site (These rules were modified on Feb 13, 2007)

Keep your Language and your content Clean
	You know what we are saying. No Four Letter Words If you violate this rule, without exception, your comment will be taken off
Leave your Name and/or a way to contact you
	First, you should leave your full name and address. It should be your legal name as listed in the phone book, or on the property records. We prefer to only publish comments from Coopertown citizens, and use your name and address ONLY to verify that you reside in Coopertown. If your name/address is challenged, we will check your name/address using the Robertson County tax records. If we can not verify that you are a resident of Coopertown, or can not contact you via phone or email to verify it, we will remove your comments. If you are not a citizen of Coopertown, but have personal experiences with issues relating to Coopertown, you are welcome to use this forum to express your experiences, but you must identify yourself as not being a citizen. We reserve the exclusive right to determine if non-citizen's comments are published. We request that you leave your phone number and / or email address. If you don't want this published, just don't select the option to post them. We will not give out email addresses or phone numbers to anybody. We will not publish them anywhere. We just want them in case we need contact you and verify that you really did post the message. Under no circumstances will we publish any comments that are un-signed. If you want to be anonymous, there are other avenues at your disposal.
Don't use this to argue with your neighbor
	This isn't the place to argue. It is the place to let others know your opinion. Ultimately think of this as a place to publicly speak to your Mayor, Aldermen, and other citizens.
Don't use this to advertise
	In the past, some have used this as a way to advertise a service or product. This is not it's intent, and any postings like this will be removed. If you want to advertise, contact the webmaster. We will be more than happy to "Sell" you advertisement space on the site.

City Officials, do not use this to respond to comments
	I understand that as an official, you want to respond to any comments you see here. By doing this, you may inadvertently cause citizens to feel that they can not freely express their opinion. I have added a link directly to the Coopertown City web page, and you should post your comments and responses there. This forum is reserved strictly for citizens of and visitors to Coopertown, to express their acceptance or disapproval of city policy. If you have something that you would like posted on this site, please send a note to the web-master, and it will be considered for posting on another section of the site. City officials should feel free to use this to announce upcoming events at City hall (meetings, etc).
